Ron Peterson — Founder & Owner
Ron founded Altecca Construction in 2014, bringing with him a career that spans military service, global engineering, and executive advising. After serving in the U.S. Navy, Ron went on to build power plants across the world for Rolls-Royce — a role that demanded absolute precision, disciplined project management, and international collaboration at the highest level.
Today, Ron continues to serve as an advisor to Siemens on new power plant projects throughout the United States. His unique background gives Altecca a leadership foundation few regional contractors can match — a blend of military discipline, global engineering rigor, and genuine local commitment.
Spencer Jones — Construction Manager
Spencer is what the industry calls a legacy builder — someone who has earned his expertise from the ground up, quite literally. With 13 years of experience in the field, Spencer began his career as an electrician, working his way up to superintendent before pursuing his passion for the full scope of construction management. He is currently pursuing his degree in Construction Management from BYU. This combination of deep practical field knowledge and strategic planning skills equips him to lead complex commercial projects from start to finish. Spencer’s ability to translate field realities into effective management solutions is a key reason Altecca’s projects run as smoothly as they do.
Chris Peterson — Estimator
Chris brings a wide-angle perspective to Altecca's estimating process, developed through years as a nationwide contractor managing cell phone tower construction across the United States. That work demanded meticulous cost analysis, logistical coordination across diverse markets, and the ability to deliver accurate bids under pressure.
Since joining the Altecca team, Chris has applied that same discipline to commercial construction estimating in the Treasure Valley. His national experience ensures clients receive fair, accurate, and competitive proposals — with no hidden surprises when the project begins.
Travis Conant—Lead Carpenter
Travis is a highly skilled and incredibly versatile carpenter on our field team. Originally a roofer, he brings years of hands-on experience as a general handyman and can tackle almost anything that comes up on a job site. From framing and finish carpentry to repairs, problem-solving, and jumping in wherever the crew needs an extra set of capable hands, Travis handles every task with dedication, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. His broad skill set, reliability, and can-do spirit make him an indispensable member of our crew and a trusted asset on every project.
